Dark Souls: Remastered is Heading to Switch in May

I can’t wait to die over and over again

Rumored before the Nintendo January Direct Mini, we now have full confirmation that Dark Souls: Remastered is coming to Switch! The game will feature enhanced graphics and features and will launch on May 25.

Dark Souls: Remastered

This game will be remastered in its entirety. The original game launched in 2011, so a remaster is certainly welcome. The game’s routes, bosses, story, and everything else will be preserved from the original. The game is notorious for being difficult, so if you’re ready for some self-inflicted torture, you’re in for a treat.

The game will have 1080p graphics in docked mode, and 720p in handheld mode. They claim a smooth 30fps in both modes. That’s pretty good for a remaster on the Switch. We can’t wait for the game, and we’ll keep you updated as we get closer to release. You can check out our hub for Dark Souls: Remastered here.

I’m the head honcho here. I love Nintendo, and I love writing about it all. Ask me sometime about why I believe Waluigi is a ghost.
