Japan: Off the Hook Art to Promote Splatfest

I wonder why they like cake and ice cream… Can we get some art of that?

The Japanese Splatoon Twitter account tweeted two new pieces of art for the pop idol group Off the Hook. The art of Pearl and Marina show their support of rock and pop, respectively.

Japan’s first Splatfest will have Rock vs Pop, instead of Cake vs Ice Cream. However, Pearl and Marina are still at odds at which is better. The tweets also explain why the pop idols enjoy their preferred genre.

Pearl likes rock for the soul trembling shouts, blood-pumping beats, and the sound of an electric guitar.

Of course, Marina enjoys pop’s sweet melody, bittersweet harmony, and how it encourages people.
