Nintendo Heading to San Diego Comic-Con

Strange, I have this sudden urge to stop what I’m doing and fly to San Diego. I wonder why?

Nintendo announced in a July 13 release their plans to attend San Diego Comic-Con July 20 to the 23. They will feature games like Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Pokkén Tournament DX, as well as competitions and giveaways.

The Nintendo booth will only feature Super Mario Odyssey, but Nintendo is renting out the entire Marriott Marquis & Marina ballroom to show off it’s large line up of games. They will also host competitions with prizes to the winners. One such competition is the Play Nintendo Challenge, where contestants play through Splatoon 2, ARMS, and Pokkén to determine a winner. The Play Nintendo Challenge will be open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on July 20 and July 21, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on July 23.

While Comic-Con is a ticketed event, Nintendo’s showcase at Marriott Marquis & Marina ballroom is open to the public!
