Corrin amiibo

No Need To Fear: Corrin amiibo is Still Coming

Without an official announcement, we can only hope it comes soon

Corrin was one of the last characters added to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. He/she was added alongside Bayonetta and Cloud. None of these characters have gotten their own amiibo yet. However, we have proof that the Corrin amiibo is still coming!

Corrin amiibo Confirmation

Earlier, we posted about the Limited Edition Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. In that post, I put up the Nintendo PR release about the limited edition. Inside that release, there’s evidence that the Corrin amiibo is going to be compatible. It says:

In addition, all Fire Emblem amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. series can be used to summon an illusory hero of that character, allowing players to seek assistance from spectral visages of Marth, Ike, Roy, Robin, Lucina and the upcoming Corrin amiibo.
Nintendo PR, emphasis added

It clearly reconfirms the Corrin amiibo as part of the list of compatible amiibo. You can summon in the hero to help you!

So, amiibo collectors, you can rest easy that your Corrin is still coming. No word on Cloud and Bayonetta, but maybe we’ll be getting them soon too. Will you be nabbing that amiibo, or are you done with amiibo? Let us know in the comments!

I'm the head honcho here. I love Nintendo, and I love writing about it all. Ask me sometime about why I believe Waluigi is a ghost.
